The Dragon Sayer of Amethyst Mountain
This is the story of
Lyn Myr
who, while on a hike on Pyrain Mountain, she may call upon the dragons on Amethyst mountain, to take the draclings to a
stumbles across the lair of Byrn, Embyr, and their
three draclings, Pyro, Synge, and Krynn.
She begins to feel a fiery pain in her
head, which is actually the two adult dragons
*Chapter One speaking to her in telepathy.
The two dragons, surprised that Lyn is able to
understand them, bow to her and tell her that she
is the direct decendant of Carylyn, the dragon
sayer, their protector. She tries to protest, but
soon realizes that there is no other explanation in
her being able to understand them. Later, the
draclings are orphaned when an army of soldiers
storms the mountain. Lyn takes the draclings
home with her, and immeadiatly tells her
grandmother what happened on the mountain.
Granmyr, outraged at what the soldiers have done, and sympathetic for the draclings, takes the
draclings to the barn, and lets them stay there. But
when search dogs stumble across the family's
secret, Granmyr tells Lyn that she must flee to
Cryndon and find Cartyrath the Sorceress, so thatsafer place. Many troubles push their way into e
Lyn's path. Will she ever make it to Cryndon, and
if she does, where will she find Cartyrath?
